Chapter 3. SURVIVING ON 50lb!
Chapter 3. SURVIVING ON 50lb!
So when it comes to the time when we girls make plans on studying abroad or going on vacation everything is excitement and expectations until OH OH! Packing time arrives… Believe me trying to survive with only 50lb of all of your stuff is like walking through hell. Definitely some airlines should start considering about the possibilities of adding one extra pair of luggage for free or even increasing the amount lb that you can take from 50lb to something around 75lb maybe. But since that’s not going to happen for now we just have an option learn the difference between what you need and what you DON’T. It’s just as simple as that but we need to take baby steps and do one thing at a time in order to archive it.
First you need to know what kind of stuff you’ll be doing during your trip, this will help you to realize what kind of clothes you’ll need and will help you to draw a line between what you want to use and what you would actually use, believe me it’s absolutely useless to pack your stilettos if your plan is to visit a winter wonderland or if you’re signing in for a tour around Europe. Instead, pack only a pair of heels that you can walk in for hours, a lots of cute ballet flats.
Brings enough tops, I’ve always have the idea that it’s more important to have lots of things to wear on the top of your body, even if you’re wearing the same jeans changing from a sweater to a tank top will make you look different. Also pack a pair of jeans, leggings in different colors, a couple of dresses and skirts that match or look good with at least 3 of your tops, that way you can mix and match to create new looks.
And last but not least, make sure you bring accessories with you, like belts, bags, scarves, that will help you to make your clothes look different each time you wear them, this will give the idea or will make you feel that you’re not wearing the same bluse over and over again.
